Well, I found this shirt while I was browsing one of my favorite t-shirt sites and I had to buy it…

I’ve been really sick and havent been able to work out for the past two weeks. :fever: It really sucks, but I’m still watching what I eat *sort of*. After the company conference, I’ll be able to put a leash around my health and find out what the heck is going on with me. Life shouldnt be like this. The emergency room twice in one week? Come on now…Lord Help.

Welp, Thursday afternoon when I got home from work…I realized that I hadnt eaten all day, so I went to grab some crackers to hold me over until Incog got home. But eating them was becoming some serious task because i was having a hard time swallowing. I shrugged it off and put the crackers back and went and drank some water, not really thinking anything was wrong…but that it was just WEIRD.

Later on, Incog got home and cooked BBQ and as I attempted to eat, I realized that everytime I chewed, my throat glands felt like they were on fire. And eventually, my left throat glan was hugely swollen and VERY noticeable, so Incog and I headed to Urgent Care to figure out what the heck.

Two hours later, we walked out holding a prescription for Amoxicillan and Vicodin. I have Strep Throat. :wtf:

By the time we got out of there, I was too tired to go fill the prescription, so we got home, and I just slept until morning. Friday morning, i woke up and ran a quick errand for work, and then headed straight for Savons. Incog got home later, and we went to see “Lucky Number Sleven” which was pretty good and “Scary Movie 4″ which i had a hard time staying awake in…It wasnt that it was boring, it was that the Vicodin had kicked in. :loser:

Saturday…I slept…..and slept…..and…slept.

After I woke up, we got tickets for the Dodger vs Giants game. Pretty good Tickets…Field Tickets…Lower Level…Good View. The crowd was HARSH on Barry Bonds though. I got Incog to run down to the box seats and take a photo of him…

Sunday, we woke up extra early *for a Sunday* and drove to Church. There were 7,000 seats and they were all field for the 9am service. I bet the 11am service was even crazier. After that, we went to my mom’s house and had Easter Dinner *yay for Grandma and Mom*. After we left there, we stopped by the Outlets. I got a new D&B purse, and some shirts form Guess. Incog got a shirt from Nautica.

I dont know about ya’ll…but having Strep sucks to high heaven. You can barely eat anything, and your head and throat hurts. I wouldnt wish it on anyone.

that was my weekend in a nutshell…OH and I had a free moment so I decided to put together my first blend.
I’ve never done a Photoshop Blend before, but I figured….WHY NOT?

It sucks, but it’s MY suckage. Hopefully, I’ll get better…lol. You know I’m more of a “clean” designer.

In any case, the tinting went okay. Afterwards, we came home and watched RADIO since I had to watch it for a paper. Then, Sunday morning, we went to Church. :dance: And after Church, we came home, switched cars, and took Lexi to get a Professional wash. She needed it.

The Steelers won the superbowl. I was rooting for Troy, one of my favorite USC Alums. :dance:

Welp, I wrote my first essay for grad school. But once i was done, i realized that I wasnt sure how long it was supposed to be, so I emailed my professor and asked her and she said that it only had to be 2 pages. :pissed: I told her that I kind of over did it, and she said that it was okay.

In class yesterday, Monday, I switched professors. *sigh* They needed 16 people to switch professors (same course, same syllabus, different professor, different syllabus). So I and a few others decided to switch, which was good because now I have Wireless Internet in the new classroom. lol

Thanks to a coworker and Lonny, I might have an OUT to this Bally’s situation. I’m so happy. I was also able to wake up at 5 this morning and hit LAFitness. *pat on back* I refuse to be grouped with folks. Im gonna lose weight FOR ME if it kills me.

As the month of January progresses I’m starting to realize what I KNEW all along. Some folks are just…instigators for real.

The part that sucks most about it is that they try to act dumb when you mention the obvious. :pissed: I’m glad that I set my resolutions for 2006. Folks are making it real easy to follow them. But alas, I AM in the grown-up world… the world of money making… and responsibility. I promised myself that I would leave that other crap alone. And I will.
Some folks are just cut and dry. Get mad. Cut you off. You say your peace. You do your thing, I do mine. It’s whatever. It’s not like they pay YOUR bills.

HOMES IN CALIFORNIA

It’s becoming increasingly clear that Incog and I might need to move out of California to get what we want. We subscribed to RealtyTrac this weekend to look at some houses. They list a lot of forclosures and new homes for sale. A lot of the listings didnt have pictures, but we did see ONE that we liked. I’m gonna be doing some more research as the months progress…

Arizona is hot…and that seems to be the only downfall. I’ll be closer to Erika which will be great…but then again, I’ll be farther from Christal. lol I already told her I’d fly her to come see me whereever we move. BFFL! *takin it back to high school for a minute…lol*

*sigh* Where ever it is, it wont be TOO far from California…family comes first…and I must say that I group my best friends in that family group. You’re right, April…TRUE friends are few. Speaking of which, I had a good convo with my spec today…we talk everyday throughout the day, but today was good…sometimes you need someone smart to explain the dumb people. usually in the morning as soon as I get to work. Maybe one day I’ll feed it before I leave for work. It’s bad enough I have to wake up at 7 just so that I can leave by 7:50 and sit on the freeway for an hour. To wake up even earlier to make some cream of wheat or cereal is a stretch. :thumbsdown:

After wading through Monday morning randomness and confusion, i must admit…i’m feeling a little EH. And i’m NOT looking forward to Bally’s tonight. But alas…a girl must do…what a girl must do…

Saturday night, Incog and I went to the store and I picked up the latest People Magazine because I saw Nick and Jessica on the front cover. I just HAD to know what happened. lol I was one of the faithful watchers of “Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica”. That was my show! :blush: Anyways, I read that she didnt have a pre-nup. I understand love, this and that…but geez. At the time of their marriage, Nick was making more than she was. And after their show took off, her album and bank account did too. She was making WAY more than him. *sigh*

On Sunday, i did a little programming…and then mopped and cleaned up a little. Call me crazy, but it’s something great about clean linoleum and the smell of pinesol/bleach.

Payday is tomorrow…woo hoo! I still havent decided as to whether I’ll be buying a gateway, hp or apple computer / laptop, but I’ve come to the conclusion that DELL is OUT. Their support SUCKS. Anyhow, payday means more money in savings, means more money saved for a Laptop purchase in Late January.

I think I’m pissed off…*sigh*…

I’m mad at the fact that I cant even get out of this stupid contract unless there ISNT a Bally’s located within 20 miles of my home. That’s BS if you ask me. Good Shit Ballys! Good way to lock your clients in!

I called their corporate office yesterday after i made my post, which happens to be located in Norwalk (Long Beach), CA. And I spoke with this little girl who tried to explain to me, WHY after having been harrassed by one of their employees, I can’t cancel my membership. Bitch. I’d like to hereby REVOKE my endorsement of Ballys. Ballys SUCKS.

It looks like I’m stuck going to the Stuck-Up Bally’s up the street. I HATE that Ballys because everyone there is EXTRA rich and they look at you weird when you come in wearing a bandana.

Anyhow, I decided to say FUCK IT. If my job is paying $38.00 a month for me to go to a gym, I’m GOING to the one I WANT to go to…the one that’s convenient for ME.

So I went…

And I nodded, did a wave, and walked DIRECTLY PASSED the object of my demise. And it felt good. You see, even though he did me dirty, I’m not the type of person to hold a grudge *unless you just did some off the wall shit*…So I did the cordial thing and kept it pushing. God don’t like ugly. Besides the trainer doesnt know I dont like him anyways… *sigh*

I worked out for a good hour and punished my muscles for taking so much time off. I dont feel the pain yet, but I’m sure I will tomorrow. You see, the second day after always hurts more than the day after. :duh:

Anyhow, it’s Wednesday and there’s hardly anyone here…I had to push back the meeting I rescheduled for today, until the middle of December, so it’s a load off of my mind, if only for a short while.

I heard back from the Lexus dealership down the street from my house. The RX that I want is in stock, so hopefully I’ll be able to hop into one sometime soon…we’ll see. They quoted me at about $41,000, which is better than I thought it would be. With my mom negotiating, I’m pretty sure we’ll be able to get a better deal. She negotiates for a living. :surprised: :thumbsup: In anycase, the real story is that I dont know for sure if I want the RX or just a new Honda Accord. Of course the Accord was quoted at $33,000 with everything that I wanted in it, but I said my next car would be an SUV. *sigh*

I should be getting my skates probably on Tuesday/Wednesday and if anyone is in the Northridge/Glendale area and needs a skating buddy…lemme know.

Anyhow….today was cool until I realized I havent received my order from NEIGHBORHOODIES.COM. I should have realized something was up when I was ordering and the cost to ship a shirt and some pants was $30.00 for arrival 3 weeks later, and apparently that was “RUSH SHIPPING”. The other option was shipping for $400.00 and that was for the CEO to fly to my house and hand deliver the package. It was a cute idea, but today…the shit just aint funny.

Anyhow, I THOUGHT I ordered it with enough time to spare for my trip to Arizona. I mean, the shipping stated (shipment by October 12th). And yet….it’s October 17th and I still havent seen a tracking number or any status report from the company. I’ve sent emails to their customer service department, but there was no response. If rubbed the wrong way, I’ll buy the domain NEIGHBORHOODIESSUCKS.COM and really show them how i feel. I mean, $200 for a custom shirt and pants aint cheap.

When I called their Los Angeles store, the girl on the other end sounded like she didnt know what she was talking about. She had to turn around and ask someone else who was standing there. They told me that they dont have a 1-800 number for online customers, and that the only way to reach them was through the customer service email that I had been sending emails to. I explained to the lady on the other end that I had already sent two emails with no response and she asked me if i had spelled the email correctly. That had to be the DUMBEST question of the century as the link was on their website, it wasnt as if i had to type it in directly or anything.

*sigh*….I’ll keep you up to date on what happens…but, in short…..

DONT EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM NEIGHBORHOODIES.COM. Their SERVICE is HORRIBLE!

I went to my “meeting” yesterday and it went GRRRRRRREAT! *:thumbsup: at Coley*

I wasnt sure what to expect, but when a building is located just after Rodeo Drive and the next street over from the Avenue of Stars……what else could you possible expect? lol Everything went smoothly and nicely and I was very proud to have had the opportunity. I just hope things work out *keeping fingers crossed*. In the meantime, I’m not “putting all my eggs into one basket”….keeping things open.

After I got home, I realize JUST HOW MUCH ROAD RUNNER CABLE/DSL SUCKS for giving me a WACK router. Somehow my websites are all blocking MY OWN ip address because I access them so much. SMH. So I bit the bullet this morning and ordered a DLINK CABLE ROUTER on my own. Because the one they gave me, obviously sucks…and after spending an hour on the phone with the guy from RR Support, I realized that they werent going to be able to do anything except come out and see what the problem is *for the FOURTH time*. YEP, they’ve already been to our house three times because i have to restart the router everytime incog wants to use his CPU at the same time as myself…kinda crap is that….anyways, enough techy talk.

So far the morning is going pretty well, besides the fact that I’ve only been here an hour. I just hope things continue to be this quiet, and run this smoothly……
