I have to admit…Lipstick Jungle is the new hotness. I promise it is.

I love watching this show…it’s like an updated Sex in the City.  Very posh. Very modern.

I just love watching women portrayed in a driven and positive light. It’s super inspiring.

As you know, things have been pretty crazy for me the past few weeks, but I think we’re finally sinking into a routine. Somehow, while I havent managed to get to the gym in almost 3 weeks, I’ve still managed to lose 3 pounds. How the heck does that work? lol That is SO not a motivation to go to the gym.  I think it’s just a matter of actually waking up early, driving into the office and getting up and down and walking around the office all day.

It might also be these dang on Monster Lo-Carb Energy Drinks. These things are the business. *thumbs up*

And let me take a moment to mention that my new assistant is where it’s at. lol I don’t know how I’d get through the days without her. God.Sent.

Oh…how I miss you guys. I think I’ll actually go peruse some blogs now while I have a few minutes of downtime.

My mom will be driving down here on Saturday to see the new office and to go to lunch with us. yay. I’m excited for the weekend.

God’s really doing His thing on this side of the planet. He’s puttin in work.

I’ve been running running running for the past 3 weeks and I kinda feel like…it’s all starting to come to a head. I tried sleeping in this morning, but that didnt go over too well because now my body is used to being up so early. ha ha!

Everything’s going well though. I completed the things that I set out to do, and was able to meet some great people in the process.

I’m just praying that God will help me to keep up this momentum…and allow me to get some sleep every now and then.

I think I’ll work on one project today and pass out after a little while. Take some me time…

Don’t these folks understand that time is money??
If you tell me that you’re gonna be here to gimme internet at 10 am, then be here! I shouldn’t have to call you at 12:30 to find out that you’re running late. Dang it…I shouldn’t have to call you AT ALL. You should be calling me! And don’t say you’ll only be another hour late if that is gonna turn into 3 hours late.

At least the other 2 contractors had the decency to call 30 minutes before they were gonna be late.

*sigh*…what a day.

Today’s a busy day…

DSL guy + biz insurace folks + paint estimate + window etching estimate + security estimate + furniture drop-off.

Matter of fact, based on the # of things I need to get to today, I think I’ll buy a coffee maker for the office like I have at home.  I’ve had my friend Tassi  for about a year now, and believe me, she makes the.best Hot Chocolate. Her coffee’s alright. I think I’m just used to the amount of SUGAR + CARBS Starbucks puts in their coffee.

Alright…let me go find my banana and get to work.

and I have a million things running through my mind.

I haven’t been at a point where I wasn’t able to sleep for a long time.

Maybe it was the Starbucks hot chocolate that I had around 9pm. But geez, what’d they put in it? crack?

Whenever I’m awake like this with ideas and projects running through my head, I call it “my will to succeed”.

I know that in about 4 hours we’ll be waking up to head to church…only, I’ll probably still be awake. And if I fall asleep in church, that’s not gonna be the hawtness.  But I can’t for the life of me, figure out a way to turn my thoughts off.

It’s like a whole bunch of numbers and hex colors all in one. Jesus Mother Mary on the cross.

At least I was able to catch up on some work and take care of some work that I would be doing if I wasnt going to be in the office all next week getting things ready for walk-ins the following week.

Okay…gonna go try to lay down and catch an hour or two before Church. Besides…the sun is coming up…good Lord…

I guess as soon as I start to excel in one area, I slack off in another…*sigh*.

I haven’t really had a chance to post in a few days. My bad. This week is flying by so fast. I feel like it was just. Sunday.

Random Thoughts for Wednesday:

• Thank God for Lysol wipes…
• Who ever thought choosing a paint color for an office would be so damn hard?
• I forgot Flavor of Love (Season 3) had already started.
• There are so many interesting people in the blogosphere…and I’m glad to have a good mix of acquaintances.
• God’s an awesome God…
• Time to get back on track with my training program. Hopefully I can get my body on a new schedule once I get the office setup and get used to driving to an office every morning. Maybe waking up at 5am is going to be the key to still being able to hit the gym in the morning. I’ll just have to take an earlier cycling class.
• I’m looking for a heavy flash programmer for contract work. If you know anyone, have them email me.

A new episode of The Gauntlet III is about to come on…must go.

That’s where I’m at…with that.

The weekend was good…no complaints there. Incog and I chilled pretty much all weekend. Yay.

I can’t wait for summer to get here…I like the beach…and the pier…and the promenade…and…just…relaxing outside.

I have some meetings this morning. but I managed to fit in a 1/2 hour gym session.
