If you’re close to me, you know that lately, I’ve been trying to make things in my life…a little more … simple.
I’ve been consolidating and getting rid of the things that I don’t necessarily need.
So, I decided to reflect this in my blog theme as well. Hopefully it will also decrease the load time as well.
Anyways…this weekend was pretty cool.
We participated in the 5k UNCF Los Angeles Walk For Education around our Alma Mater (USC) & Exposition Park. It was great to be able to get out and hang… La Shia and I finished 11th in the run. But I promise my ankle was dying on the last mile. While crossing Exposition, I twisted my ankle on the uneven street…but I kept running on it anyways. The only thing I was thinking was… “Don’t swell. Please …just…don’t swell before I finish.” And it didn’t. It waited until I got back to Christal’s house… a ha. 
But definitely fun to do…
Christal and I spent the afternoon talking and hanging out. Love you. Mean it.
Today, we went to church as usual…and after, we caught up on The Ultimate Fighter. I love that show. I caught up on Keeping Up with the Kardashians too…lol
Welp…I’m gonna grab some water and head to bed. I have a dentist appointment tomorrow that I’m not super excited about. I already know they’re going to tell me that I need to have a tooth pulled. Urgh.

I like to keep the refrigerator as clean as possible. So much so that I’ll put the gallon of milk on a plastic plate so that it doesnt leave a puddle on the clear shelf.
I like drinking lots of water before I go to sleep.
I tend to go to my office wearing gym clothes so that I dont have an excuse not to go when I leave.
I can remember numbers, but I can’t put names with faces to save my life, let alone remember names.
Whenever I check the mail, if there’s nothing exciting…I tend to leave it in the mailbox for a few days…

I know this is going to sound sad, but…when I saw this on TV yesterday, I nearly jumped out of my seat. lol
I want one! lol
It was a pretty good weekend…Congrats to my sands for her new position in Sigma. Yay!
Friday night was quiet…I organized my closet and got some things ready…
Saturday, we went to Justin’s game…yay for a homerun. 
Saturday afternoon, I had some…”oil”…*That ish was strong*.
Saturday night, we went to see IronMan. I liked it…Incog…not so much.
Sunday was pretty chill…it was good to relax at home…that’s when I saw my Bissell on TV. lol
Sunday night was scary…let me just say…Private Number blocking is ESSENTIAL!
Anyways, I hope that you guys all had a good weekend!

Jason *barzini*…wait, let me not do the FULL government name….had his album pre-release party. We were all very excited to be out to support.

We trekked out early this morning to hit Mt. High, but not early enough. By the time we got there, they were turning folks around from the mountain because it was already packed. So Incog pulled a U-Turn from the long line of cars in front and behind us, and we parked on the side of the road like many other families to play in the snow instead.
That was good enough for us…
Christal wanted to make a snow poodle… *giggle*

I mean dang…our colors ARE royal blue and gold.

Incog thought it would be funny to hit us with a snowball while we were taking a picture. Christal thought it was funny too. But maybe that was because they didn’t have snow up their nose or in their mouth. Cold.Blooded.
Boys will always be boys…*sigh*
We reserved time for normalcy….
And then got back to the craziness…
All in all…it was cool being out in the snow and being able to have a little fun…

sure did.
mmm hm. sure did.
PT was on the ones and twos at One - Sunset last night, for Keith Robinson’s birthday, so we were in VIP. And I finally got the Mai Tai I’ve been dreaming about since December.
mmm hm. sure did.
Even nabbed a photo with Tank….
mmm hm. sure did.
It was so great to get out and hang with the girls for a girl’s night. There were quite a few folks there, but luckily we had our VIP table so we didn’t have to worry about finding a spot. Once we valeted Lexi, we walked right in *no line, no nothing*. Pretty much everyone was there and we were pretty darn happy to just enjoy the night. There was Ne-Yo, Shemar Moore, Tank *above*, and George Gore *My Wife and Kids*, among a few others. We were too busy dancing to snap that many photos… but we managed a few of us…

I’m thinking I’m about to pass out right now… I might have to skip cycle class in the morning…luckily…the treadmills are available all day *wink*.
