After completing my run today, I looked a little more closely at the notation on the mobile site. Only roughly 32.9 miles until I reach the Nike+ Blue Level. I think I can handle that in about 2 weeks or less.

Of course, now that I’ve said it here, I’m sure you’ll uphold me to it. And if not, I’ll have this damn post of as a constant reminder of my failure. *womp*

There are six Levels that correspond to total kilometers run:

  • Yellow (0-49 KM),
  • Orange (50-249 KM),
  • Green (250-999 KM),
  • Blue (1,000-2,499 KM),
  • Purple (2,500-4,999 KM)
  • Black (5000+ KM).

As you move from one Level to another, Nike+ will recognize your achievements in different ways. Your color will follow you through the features in Nikeplus.com, updating your entire profile as you reach new Levels.

I think I can, I think I can, I think I can…

Fantasy Football: 10-2 after Week 12

by Courtney Elizabeth · November 29, 2011 · Sports & Fitness ·

I obviously didn’t post my Fantasy Football Start / Sit picks last week for Week 12.

Truth be told, I was a little concerned on Thursday when Laurent Robinson (Dal) scored another 19 points before I realized that I had him benched. *insert expletive here*

Be that as it may, I headed into Monday Night Football behind by 6 points in my matchup, and Jimmy Graham and Hakeem Nicks pulled out a W for me.

I enter Week 13: 10-2 in my #1 Fantasy Football League.
And I’m breathing a little easier this morning.

My Week 13 matchup is currently 3-9 in the league.
I’ll set my lineup on Thursday morning…maybe. *wink*

Custom NFL Jerseys

Custom Cowboys Jersey from NFLShop.com
by Courtney Elizabeth · November 29, 2011 · Sports & Fitness ·

I know the NFL season is almost over…And that’s OK.

Because I plan on purchasing stuff while it’s CHEAP! Holla for a dolla!

I’m soooo serious when I say that I’ve been wanting a Custom Dallas Cowboys Jersey for a few years now.

Women’s NFLĀ® jerseys from ReebokĀ® have a slimmer, shorter, tighter fit that hits just below the waistline. NFL Shop customer feedback suggests that you should select a size larger than normal when purchasing these jerseys. If you prefer a boxier cut, a kids’ size may fit better, and if you’re looking for a fuller cut and longer length, choose a smaller men’s jersey.

But maybe I should wait until the new Nike 2012 NFL Uniforms are out. I know that I’ll want one of those too. Regardless of the speculated design changes, I’m pretty sure that they wont be drastically different.

Fantasy Football: Week 11 Start / Sit

Team: B_tches Get Stitches

QB – Phillip Rivers or Ryan Fitzpatrick: Phillip Rivers
WR – Hakeem Nicks or D. Bowe: Hakeem Nicks
WR – Steve Smith or Laurent Robinson: Steve Smith
RB – Michael Bush
RB – Matt Forte
TE – Brandon Pettigrew (pickup to replace Jimmy Graham)
Flex – D. Murray
K – David Bailey
DEF – SF 49ers or NY Jets: SF 49ers

BYE – M. Colston, J. Graham

My “dilemma” this week was whether or not to start Ryan Fitzpatrick over Phillip Rivers. They’re both failing with interceptions right now, and Rivers is only slightly better by the numbers. But…Fitzpatrick goes against Miami this week. And we all know how Miami has been this season.

I had Fitzpatrick starting this week, but this morning I came to my senses and swapped in Rivers. After all, it’d be just my luck that Miami would have another surge of energy and Fitzpatrick would spend most of his time in the fetal position (sacked or not). And the last time I benched Rivers for Fitzpatrick was Week 4 when I was asleep at the wheel, and Rivers had Miami while Fitzpatrick was getting Molly whooped by the Bengals. We won’t be doing that again, on purpose.

Lucky for me, my matchup this week is 1 in 9 (9ers Finest Fan), and they haven’t changed their lineup since Week 6. Further, they’re starting Maclin (OUT), Sproles (BYE), and Kasay (BYE).

SCORE!

You are Sociable and Entertaining.

I didn’t think my reality check would come in the form of a fortune cookie.

One would ask, “Why haven’t you been posting as much as you used to?”

Well, I’ve been busy. I’ve been sociable, but not as much as… let’s say…circa 2008?

It’s never too late to get back into the swing of things. So instead of promising an outrageous number of updates each week, how about I just try to update once a week. No promises.
