Welp.
I’m doing it…
I’m installing Windows 7.
I know I said I wouldn’t…but…

And backups work…so…why not.
Glutton for punishment. Much.
I’ve been on W7 for almost 2 months now. So far, its greatest strength (I have Ultimate btw) is sharing. Far easier and more efficient than any native solution to date. Workgroups are now Homegroups and streaming flies! I have folders as large as a couple hundred Gigs that I had access to in a matter of seconds. Sharing is still an option, if you want to do an entire drive letter, but its much easier to just add all the folders of a drive to the Homegroup. I also like that the sidebar is gone, leaving the gadgets free to be placed anywhere on the desktop. I like it.
