Well if I had read all these scary stories about Windows Vista I probably would never have bought my laptop since you could only get one with Vista. My desktop has XP and I was real concerned when I had to switch from Windows 98 to XP and maybe it was just the idea of change. I will say I felt the same way about XP as you all feel about Vista until I had used it for a while then I liked the change, but after using Vista for about a year I truly enjoy using it and rarely use the computer with XP. I feel in ways we are all creatures of habit but I truly have enjoyed the change.

Girl that's why I'm still using XP x64. My uncle is a Network Administrator and he has to use it but told me don't even bother. I heeded the warning. I do however use Office 2007, which I am in lust with. Even though I dispise Windows sometimes I'll never give into the Mac...ever. Windows XP works just fine for me.

I don't have Vista, so I don't know what's going on. I did type it in on my search engine and your website was all over it.

I had lots of people tell me not to switch to Vista because it really wasn't all that. I'm kind of glad I didn't because I keep hearing negative things about it.

<em>nadiyahw's last blog post..<a href='http://nadiyah.net/blog/?p=35'>jacket season are sooo close.</a></em>

Omgosh, when I first purchased my laptop and it came with Windows Vista, I was highly disappointed. I immediately sought to install Windows XP. Vista is completely slow and not to mention a lot of programs aren't even compatible with it. Sure, it looks pretty nifty, but we all know looks can be deceiving. I will never install Windows Vista ever again.

I resisted Vista cause of all the bad reports I heard but I just bought a new laptop and they preinstalled it. Was going to just take it off and put on XP but was convinced by a friend to give it a shot and so far what can I say its alot less aggravating than I had expected. Maybe that says more about my expectations than the product though.
