June 30th, 2008 A Busy Weekend Indeed 3 Comments

Incog and I saw two movies this weekend.

Wall-E was super cute and the Incredible Hulk was really good too. I would say that I liked them both about the same being that they were two different genres. I think I’d buy Wall-E on DVD though. I was surpised the Incredible Hulk was in a smaller theatre, but then I realized that it had been out already. Wall-E on the other hand…was packed with kids AND adults.

PIC 018Saturday, and I went to a joint bridal shower which was cool. Photos on Flickr.

Sunday, Incog and I went to my little cousin’s christening luncheon, which was really cute. It was great to see all of the family again … in place. lol. I was glad to hear about all of the exciting things coming up. Yay Vegas. Ha!

Anyways, I’m back on the grind. More work to do this week. Less time to do it in.

Hope that you had a great weekend.

You ever just have of those weeks?

*sigh*

I’d crawl under the covers if I could…but I have work to do. I dont have a choice right now.

There’s so much to do this weekend.

And I STILL haven’t gotten my manicure… that’s not happening.

*humming* Workin Workin Workin, Day and Night!

June 24th, 2008 Geek In Me 1 Comment

Apparently I’m a .

63% Geek

I’ll take it. It rocks.

I’m laying in bed… in my cute new comfy socks…watching Hell’s Kitchen. Love this show…but not as much as Top Chef.

Before I jumped into bed, I was scouring ShopBop for a top to wear to my little cousin’s Christening this weekend. I couldn’t find anything… which is good because who knows what gas prices will be in two weeks. And unless the top can be used as fuel, I’ll have to do without.

Let’s go Barak!

Anyone tryna carpool to Mexico with some empty kegs for gas? $2.50 a gallon is that new hotness…

Eh well…I tried.

Random: Poor Suge Night. This year just isn’t his year. First he got molly whooped…then he sold out Death Row for 24 million to a no-name joint venture.

what comes on tv next?

*rolls over*

June 24th, 2008 Reverse Psychology 9 Comments

So I was wondering…

If we say how COLD it is outside, will it magically become breezy?

Or, If we say how INEXPENSIVE gas is, will it magically become CHEAP?

Eh Well… it was worth a try.

I need a manicure. And I’ve finally found a place that I like to go to. The only issue is that everyone else likes it too, so it’s usually crowded when I go. The last time I went, I had to wait 30 minutes just to get my eyebrows done and then another 20 minutes to get a basic manicure. I havent done acrylics in a few years, but I’m tempted to do them as the wait time seems to be shorter for some reason. No ever just wants to do a basic french tip manicure. They can’t charge as much, I . Maybe I’ll go today…and it won’t be as bad of a wait… I mean, it’s just a Tuesday.

Over the weekend, reminded me to call Gauthier Total Image Spa to find out if the gift certificates I purchased back in 2004, were still active. And to my amazement, Gauthier Total Image Spa was…no longer. Like…number disconnected…website down… Like…there went $220.00.

I need to find another Spa in the Valley…which reminds me…make sure you check out Spa-View.com. Loads of information there…LOADS.

Garsh…I need to go grocery shopping too huh? Luckily, Trader Joes is less than a mile away. Good Stuff.

URGH. You realize all of these things mean driving…and what else…GAS.

Random Moment:

Yahoo Hosting is the devil. Promise. Don’t ever host with them unless you dont know better or it’s on accident…

Back to Normalcy *or the lack there of*:

It’s hot…and it’s not even 8:30 yet.

Alright, lemme go get ready for work. No work, no gas. *thiz face*

But before I go…here’s a story I read about on D’Lee’s blog the other day: Ware Becomes a Daddy

June 23rd, 2008 The Parent Trap 4 Comments

pic-001-150x150 The Parent Trap

With the rise in gas prices…I’ve been finding myself working from home a few days a week.

And today…ATT Home Entertainment has been acting a bust. Every other half hour, the volume will magically dissappear, so I’ve decided to pop in “The Parent Trap” until Incog appears at the door. He tends to not like the old-kiddie-girly movies. Go figure. :P

It’s still hot out here in the valley…

I wonder if we’ll get a break some time soon…
