I forgot that I ordered it until I checked the mailbox. I think it arrived when we were on the cruise, but being that I only check the mailbox once a week… eh well… you get the picture.

I don’t know when I’ll wear it, but I’ll be sure to uhh… capture the moment.

My hatred for Internet Explorer runs deep.

But my need for sanity runs deeper.

I installed Multiple IE on the Office Network today.

Of course I had to upgrade to Internet Explorer 7 first. Not fun in my opinion, but a necessary evil.

Anything involving Internet Explorer is a headache.

But I did what I had to do.

I get tired of rendering and validating in Firefox sometimes.

So it was just easier to just install the crap.

If you’re like me…you might want to go ahead and do the same.

Just make sure that you read the “Important Notes” first before you start throwing yourself out of buildings and what not.

Two of my most favorite things.
This will be me for another hour or so…

My body is still on East Coast time, so I was up at 6am this morning as if it was nothing. But I plan on obtaining a decent amount of sleep tonight…after “Gossip Girl” of course…

When I got to work, I thought I would be spending the day pulling my hair out. But alas, it wasn’t so bad. I’m glad there were few “fires” while I was gone.

I’m glad that I’m back, but I must admit that I miss the views and the fresh air of being out in the middle of the ocean. When I returned home there was soot everywhere…even on Lexi. After cleaning off the back patio for Bentley’s well being, I had little energy to clean the soot around the front door. Maybe tomorrow.

Anyways, half time is over. Back to football and programming.

This week has been one full week, I tell ya. I finally closed out one of the biggest projects to date, started 7 others, and pushed 4 to final review stage.

And all because I was determined not to think about any type of server, blog, client, marketing plan, database schema, or project while I was in the Bahamas.

God is good.

And I’m so ready for my gorilla shaped cup filled with pineapple juice and rum.

Since he’s the new President Elect, he gets a pass today.
I’m super excited for what this will mean for our country.
And even more excited for what this symbolizes for all African Americans.

Watching the people in Kenya today was really eye opening. They believe we can make a change too. And that really says something.

So, Obama can press all of the buttons he wants today.
It’s ALL good.

She’s small..she’s pink…and she’s been enhancing my life…for less than 24 hours. Her cover flip excites me.

My blog posts have become more and more sparatic lately.
I apologize.

You’ll find me somewhere in between office and home on any given day - minus saturday and sunday. And even on those days, I’m usually at home doing some work. I’ve managed to go out a few times in the past two weeks, but one would hardly call it a social life.

My end of the rainbow surfaces next Friday, when we head to the Bahamas for 7 whole days of relaxation and no-work. Oh Bahamas…how I miss you so…

The work ethic has been non-stop, with lulls long enough to shower and eat, and end the day with a round of House Hunters on HGTV.

It could almost be considered sad.
But I’m on a mission.

With the Bahamas trip coming up the first week of November, the goal is to make sure that all projects are closed, or on track for completion the following week… and that all invoices have been paid.

I’m sooo ready for a vaca.

Yesterday, I spent a few hours dealing with design / browser compatibility for IE6. I wanted to scream.

IE6 must die.

It needs to die. WHY even bother using it now that IE 7 is out? Is it that your network administrator is too lazy to do the network wide upgrade? Is it that you refuse to step out of your shell and try IE7? The only reason I mention IE 7 is because I know how difficult it will be for you to grasp Firefox. Internet Explorer shouldn’t even really be an option, but alas…since Microsoft monopolized the market and 9 times out of 10, you’ll have some version of Internet Explorer already installed on your factory computer, I know that for you… it’s easier to deal than to upgrade. My brain hurts.

Alright, let me get back to work…

This past week was my birthday week.

I celebrate it within a week; mainly because I have shit to do.

I don’t feel any older…
And maybe that’s because I’ve been saying I’m the same age for the past three years. *scratching forehead*

But Monday morning when the phone calls, text messages and emails started… I have to admit, I felt a little loved…
*holding thumb and forefinger an inch apart*
Maybe just this little…

I wasn’t really expecting much for this week. Being that we had just got back from Mississippi the night before at 11pm, I knew I had spent a lot of money and I was just looking forward to chilling this week. We’re heading to the Bahamas for a full week in November, and I’m watching cash flow critically.

But God has a way of surprising you… and presenting things in a way that you can’t deny them. I learned a lot this week. I learned a lot about myself…my associates…and basically…just life. All in one week…just.one. *holding up index finger*

This week was a good week…and Incog made this week so easy. I really didn’t have to do much. lol And I was able to cap the week off with a night out with good folk…

Last night…Friday…I had the most birthday fun I’d had in years. I mean…a really long time. And it wasn’t about what we were doing…or where we were at…it was about the folks that I was with. I don’t have to know super much about you to have a great time. When it comes to having a good time…there shouldn’t be any stress involved. And you know what… folks made it really super friggin easy.
