I Can’t Sleep…

and I have a million things running through my mind.
I haven’t been at a point where I wasn’t able to sleep for a long time.
Maybe it was the Starbucks hot chocolate that I had around 9pm. But geez, what’d they put in it? crack?
Whenever I’m awake like this with ideas and projects running through my head, I call it “my will to succeed”.
I know that in about 4 hours we’ll be waking up to head to church…only, I’ll probably still be awake. And if I fall asleep in church, that’s not gonna be the hawtness. But I can’t for the life of me, figure out a way to turn my thoughts off.
It’s like a whole bunch of numbers and hex colors all in one. Jesus Mother Mary on the cross.
At least I was able to catch up on some work and take care of some work that I would be doing if I wasnt going to be in the office all next week getting things ready for walk-ins the following week.
Okay…gonna go try to lay down and catch an hour or two before Church. Besides…the sun is coming up…good Lord…
I work nights and days now and after 8 months, my inner clock is still out of wack. I wake up at 11pm when I’ve still got a few more hours of sleep before going to my nightjob 2am-8am, and then on the weekends, I’m sleepy when I should be awake and up when I should be sleeping. Glad to see it doesn’t happen that much to you though. Maybe this was just a 1 time occurrence and it won’t happen again for a long time.
Maybe those are times you need to talk to God too. I know my sleep is disturbed in the middle of the night, cuz that’s the ONLY time I don’t have SOMETHING goin on or SOMEONE with my attention. Usually after time together, He lets me rest and turns everything down/off in my brain.
Hope you got SOME rest.
i cant find a way to sleep when that happens, you just have to lie awake and hope for the best

i get like that from time to time. it seems like i come up with my best ideas while i’m in crackhead mode too. LOL hope you got to get some rest darling :]
