We went to a pre-screening of The Ruins Tuesday night, and I have to say…
when the movie comes out….run to the theatre. run. fast.

That movie was unlike anything I’ve ever seen before…lol. I promise you’ll be cringing and covering your eyes like I was.
If you like scary movies…then this is one that you need to see. Promise.
I’m currently sitting at the Lexus Dealership. Usually, we take Lexi on a Saturday to get service every 3 or 4 months. But this Saturday was booked, so they told me to come in today. I brought my laptop thinking that it would be a 1 hour service and I could sit tight until they finished, and then hit the gym up afterwards, thereby beating the after work crowd.
They just told me that Lexi needs to get new breaks…and that they’ll cost $320.00 USD.
And that I can either sit here for another 2 hours, take their shuttle service home, or take a loaner.
What the hell?
I would opt to take the loaner, but it would be pointless to take a loaner for something that’s only going to take 2 hours at most. The last time we took a loaner, I didnt want to give the loaner back. It was hot fire….lol. I was captivated by the push start ignition something terrible. I like Lexus loaners.
Alright, let me sulk in quiet. This is the pits.

Jason *barzini*…wait, let me not do the FULL government name….had his album pre-release party. We were all very excited to be out to support.

I just got back from the gym, but I know folks were waiting for these….so alas…here they are.
Peace and Grease.

We trekked out early this morning to hit Mt. High, but not early enough. By the time we got there, they were turning folks around from the mountain because it was already packed. So Incog pulled a U-Turn from the long line of cars in front and behind us, and we parked on the side of the road like many other families to play in the snow instead.
That was good enough for us…

Christal wanted to make a snow poodle… *giggle*

I couldn’t resist.
I mean dang…our colors ARE royal blue and gold.
Snow Poodle Before…

Snow Poodle After…

Relax. It’s just orange juice. *cheese*

Incog thought it would be funny to hit us with a snowball while we were taking a picture. Christal thought it was funny too. But maybe that was because they didn’t have snow up their nose or in their mouth. Cold.Blooded.

Boys will always be boys…*sigh*

We reserved time for normalcy….

And then got back to the craziness…
All in all…it was cool being out in the snow and being able to have a little fun…
The rest of the photos are here.
Now…let me see what else I can get into before Saturday is over…. *cheese*

It was one of those weeks where the first thing you can think to do to shield out all of the madness is to crawl into bed and pull the covers over your head and lay in the fetal.
Sometimes you run, jump, and hide from things…but they always come back. Full force.
I’m not running anymore.
I’m hoping that the weekend is better…and I know that I can both positively and negatively affect that.
So…let me start the weekend with this:
I’m having a good weekend.
Run. Tell. Dat. *pop collar*

I think I’ve been doing pretty good about not spending too much money so far this year.
In fact, I haven’t really splurged on clothes as much as I normally would.
Besides getting snowboarding gear, I hadn’t really done too much damage to the bank account that I wasn’t able to recoup the next day.
But…..yep, there’s a but.
On Monday, I purchased a few cute things from my favorite…shopbop.com.
They’re addicting. My only issue with this site is that usually when I purchase something, the next day or two later…it goes on sale. *scowl*
A few of the goodies I purchased…

In other news…I’m still maintaining the healthier me movement. I’m super motivated to live a healthier lifestyle and to continue being active.

Cycling class is on point. I purchased some new pearl izumis from Sports Chalet last week, and was super excited that they were on sale. When I locked into my petals this morning, there was nothing stoppin’ me. They really do help your riding.
I think we’re set with the snowboarding trip this Saturday. I’m super excited. It’s going to be lots of fun. Christal’s never touched snow before. Bring on the snowballs. a tee hee *is she reading this?*
Alright…part of living healthier is actually getting into bed before 10pm every night. Tonight will make the first night this week. *sideways look*
Love you guys…stay blessed.
