I ordered my first grad school book. :pissed: *falls over backwards* I might have to go to the library from now on and copy some pages. I keep telling myself that it will be good to have the book for when I start writing my thesis, whenever that will be.

We woke up rather early today and drove out to Gardena to see Incog’s dad. Then we headed to the LA Auto Show. , it was so packed. And I never realized how RUDE people can be. Not one were people bumping into eachother without saying excuse me, but people were rushing in front of people to see cars that werent going to be moving for another week and a half, and one guy had the NERVE to BURP in my EAR. :: I just dont understand it. :wtf: I dont remember people being that rude last year. Or there being that many people, for that matter. Maybe we DO need to get out of …move to one of the northern states…cause southern is getting too…uh, run down. And I’ll leave that at that. Too many people, too many cars…just…TOO MUCH. I’m considering a weekend trip to Portland to see what it’s like in that area. Anything will be better than THIS, at this point.

I got my parking pass today from CSUN. I opted to purchase a parking pass instead of trying to scramble for street parking in the evening, although I did hear that it wasnt so bad. When I was at USC, I had a parking pass, but I still managed to rack up about $2,000 in parking tickets my senior year. Sorry Mom. :uhh: It was to the point where I would go into the Transportation Department and they would know my name…AND my car, being that it had spoiledRHOtten written on the rear window and RHOTTEN on the license plate. It was too ridiculous to dispute, so they just GAVE me a parking pass for the last two months after we had spent so much. :surprised: I dont want to go down that road again.

It’s hard to believe that classes are starting in a week. I mean…I’m gonna be in Grad School. Something that I didnt think I would WANT to do after four difficult years at USC. But alas, I’ve set some rigorous goals and I intend to meet them, not just for me…but for me and incog and any offspring. *giggle* That sounded so weird.

Right now, we’re trying to decide whether or not we want to go snowboarding tonight from 5pm to 10pm. It’s 29°s and I have to get some gear…*sigh*. We need to go to REI. Alright…must go tinkle. There’s nothing like having to go when it’s 30 °s outside and your legs feel like they’re going to freeze off.

Be back with pictures later…..

January 12th, 2006 Thank God It’s over… 7 Comments

Ever have one of those days…where you just want to crawl into bed and pull the covers over your head?
Yep, that was today.

After work *sigh*, I went to two different appointments. One was with a chiropractor who wrote me a note for Ballys. One was with my opthimologist. That note for Ballys had to be the highlight of the day. That and the CD that incog made me, which was sitting in Lexi when I got in the car this morning. :couple:

The drive from Long Beach up to Northridge was a long one…2 hours to be exact. When I finally got home, I was so irritated about some of the things that are going on, that I felt I needed to go running. So, Incog and I went to the gym…and I ran…..and I ran….and I ran….for an hour.

Do I look like a Katrina to you??

In my last 10 minutes of running, this guy casually walked over to my treadmill and rested his arm on the handlebars. I pulled my headphones down to hear what he was saying…and he asked me if my name was Katrina. :wtf: It’s not that I dont like the name…I I’m just wondering is all….:uhh: After I said no, he asked me if I was sure. :wtf: It’s not that I didnt want to respond, but I dont think I could have started running fast enough. But he didnt give up…He asked me if he could have my real name and possibly a phone number. As I frantically scanned the room for Incog, as a means of safety, I ….I shook my head and said, “No, I’m okay. Thank you.” He looked hurt.

Anyhow, tomorrow is Friday…3 day weekend….Amen.

April tagged me. *shoots darts*

The “rules” indicate that I should add this portion of text so here you go; enjoy.

The first player of this game starts with the topic “five weird habits of yourself,” and people who get tagged need to write an entry about their five weird habits as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next five people to be tagged and link to their web journals. Don’t forget to leave a comment in their blog or journal that says “You have been tagged” (assuming they take comments) and tell them to read yours.

  • 1. I have to have my eyebrows done a certain way or I feel like I’m naked.
  • 2. I sleep with my watch on every night. Not that I can tell time in the dark, but it irks Incog and it’s funny. Sometimes, I’ll wake up and my eyes are sore because i’ve hit myself in the eyes so many times while sleeping.
  • 3. I have a habit of not taking out my contacts for weeks, sometimes months at a time. That irks Incog too.
  • 4. Doing laundry isnt my strong suit. I have a habit of turning things colors and making them sizes that a chihuahua would wear. Love you babe!
  • 5. I have a habit of clicking my teeth with my tongue ring and folding my tongue so that the bottom of the tongue ring shows when my mouth is open, when I’m really thinking about something or I’m programming. I dont notice it, but other people do. When I was on the stairmaster a few weeks ago, apparently I was thinking about something because the girl next to me tapped me and asked me where I got it, and if it glowed in the dark. :uhh:

Welp…that was my Thursday…..Tomorrow, TGIF…Hope you all are having a blessed week! I’ll let you know how Ballys turns out.

January 11th, 2006 On to Thursday… 10 Comments

, Tuesday and Wednesday went pretty fast…

Tuesday, was a pretty good day. I have no serious complaints. I was able to redesign the Web Design site for 2006.

Today was a little more rough. One of my programmers flaked on me, so I have a huge project due in a few weeks that I’m a little stumped on right now…*sigh*…But I will survive.

Tomorrow, I have a few appointments…YEP, a few. I’ll let you know how they turn out.

I didnt really have anything to blog about so I thought I’d provide this quick lil update. :)
Love ya’ll! Stay blessed!
