Courtney…..only you…..

by Courtney Elizabeth · October 14, 2005 · Life ·

This morning started off interesting…*sigh*…

I woke up extra early because I couldnt sleep…Then finally when I got back to sleep, I realized it was 6:57AM and the alarm was about to go off ANYWAY. So I stayed awake. I did my usual morning, check emails, check bank accounts, get ready for work… But, I couldnt help but to lay back down. So I did….and I ended up waking up in a panick because I realized it was passed the time that I should be getting on the freeway.

So I eventually got to the front door and realized that I couldnt find my credit card. I mean, what would the morning be without Starbucks. I couldnt find it…and the last place I remembered using it was at SavOn, last night. *head in hands* I lost my last credit card last friday and I had transfered money into THIS account, so I could use THAT card, and now…I can’t find IT. So now..I dont have ANY DEBIT/CREDIT CARDS….

Courtney….only you….

So when I got to our parking lot, I called incog from the car and let out some steam since I couldnt find it in the car either. He suggested calling Savon when I got to work and that he could go pick it up while he was running errands today. I headed towards the freeway. I got there and realized it was going to be an EXTRA long ride on the 405 being that Sunset was backed up for whatever reason. It took me 1.5 hours to get to work BECAUSE OF THE DAMN 405. *sigh*

Courtney….only you….

So when I finally did get to work, I ran to get the mail, because I knew the mailroom would be closing….I got there and the ladies were being extra nice and let me have the mail even though it was closed. HOWEVER, on the way out of the mailroom, I couldnt get out. And the ladies had already locked themselves on the inside of the mailroom. So I was standing with LOTS of MAIL, and huge headache, in the middle of a loading dock underneath one of the tallest buildings in Century City.

Courtney…..only you…..

So I decided to get creative and use the freight elevator shaft. There was no one around…HEY! Why not?! So i got in, pressed 2nd Floor, the doors shut….aaaaaaaaaand……I was stuck.

Courtney…..only you…..

Eventually one of the guards heard me and let me out and I was able to get up stairs somewhat….on time?

I’m going downstairs to plead with the folks at Washington Mutual to let me have some money out of one of the accounts because I NEED some COFFEE like I NEED a RIGHT ARM.

I hope you all have a good weekend,

Blessed

Daily Humor

Very rarely do I talk about past or current relationships in depth…you all know me. But, over the past few weeks, I’ve been able to offer my friends advice and I’m actually proud to say that I can do that. I’m blessed to be able to have found Incog. It’s true what they say, the Lord will sometimes send you through some ISH to get you where you need to be. And BOOOOI….lol

A friend said to me:

I hate that all of my relationships end exactly the same way. A slow deterioration of phone calls then the complete hault of calls all together. I dont deserve that!

And I dont think anyone necessarily DESERVES it, I think it just happens when two people either grow apart or move on. In this case, I’m glad they decided to move on.

Among relationships and love, I’m blessed to have been able to have the things that I have; Home, food, clothes, water. Even the material things that we can sometimes take for granted, ya know? I’m happy to be applying to Grad School, and I know that if I dont get in, it’ll be okay in the end, because He’s just preparing me for something BETTER. Now I KNOW, I’ll be “Suzie on the Spot” to login and post about how sad/upset/stressed I am, if I DONT get in…but I wont hesitate to write the Positive either.

Anyhow, How have YOU been blessed? What kind of things have you been through, where in the end *by the grace of God*, you came out on top?

Have a good HumpDizzle!

I dont endorse em…

Bally Personal Trainers are about good for 8 personal training sessions…and that’s about it.
I paid for 24 sessions and well…I’m STILL paying for 24 sessions and my last session is tonight. Damn Payment Plans…The total cost was about $2400.00 ($100 an hour)….and ummm, NO. Dont….EVER.

I have some personal gripes, but I’m going to leave it alone. I just feel like, if i had done about 8 sessions, I would have been good to have the routine down, and just increase intensity as the weeks progressed. It IS good if you have to have motivation, but frankly if you dont WANT to do something, then you just WONT.

With all that said, I gained a grip of muscle, and my clothes fit nicer, but…that’s bout it (24 sessions later).

Yesterday (Monday) ended up being a pretty good day…x0x0x0x0 to Incog.

Things are starting to become over whelming with the company, but you ask…and the Lord provides. So i’m DEFINATELY not complaining.

Hope everyone has a good Tuesday!

The Weekend

by Courtney Elizabeth · October 10, 2005 · Life ·

This weekend was pretty alright…no complaints here.
Saturday morning, i woke up and when Incog left, I took off to get my eyebrows done, and to do a little shopping. You know how that’s my favorite past time.

I hit up Hollister, and got the cutest vest and tank top. Then I headed home because I knew we’d probably end up going out to the Camarillo Outlets when we went to my mom’s later and I didnt want to spend too much money yet.

After I got back, we headed out to my mom’s house. When we got there, she was watching the USC Football game, so we sat and waited for that to be over > GO TROJANS < , btw. While we were watching, my aunt pat came over to say Happy Birthday, so that was cool. Once the game was over we went to Woodranch BBQ Grill, and ate lunch.

Then it was on to the Camarillo Outlets. icon smile The Weekend Incog picked up some cute new shirts, and I hit up Guess for a new black puff jacket. Then we hit up Timberland so I could get some new pink boots. Believe it or not, I've never had Timbs before...I've always been a sneaker or black leather boot type girl.

Anyhow, we made it back to Northridge in record time, headed over to Coldstones so I could get some birthday ice cream, then to the store to pick up some "ROMPA ROOM" supplies, and then headed back to the house to clean up a little.

Everyone came around 10:30pm/11:00pm, the pizza arrived by the time they got there, so that was bueno. I had spent 30 minutes on the phone with someone from Pizza Hut trying to explain to them that we only wanted 3 pizzas...apparently the guy who answered the phone was new and had it marked down that we wanted 6. SMH.

Anyhow, here are a few pictures from the event. Sunday was pretty lay low...i chilled after Bri and Andrea left (1:30pm). We had all passed out at about 4am, so we were pretty beat and slept late.

It was truly appreciated! icon smile Thank You!

At work, they had a cake in honor of Kipp *who is leaving* and I. It was super good, from Gelson’s. I’m going to Mom’s tomorrow for lunch with incog, and planning to pick up my Canon Powershot SD30 the day that it arrives at BestBuy.

And as a treat for myself for my birthday, I bought myself the new LG VX9800 and according to the guy at the counter, i was the second person to buy one at the store. *cheese*

lg vx9800 Thank You!

I like it cause i can get my text message on, without having to use T9. It’s like a sidekick…for Verizon. icon smile Thank You! It retails at $456.00, BUT, i sold my old phone on Ebay and got $250.00 for it, so after the taxes of the new phone, i pretty much only paid $250.00 for the new one *half the price*.

I came home to the brand new Pink and White Jordans that I had been oogling while we were at the Santa Monica Promenade on Saturday. Incog gave them to me as a present. I’m soo happy! icon smile Thank You!

Welp! I took the GRE, but I think I could have done better, so I had rescheduled to take it on November 11th. But when i contacted the Program Department of the Univ. that I’m applying to, they told me not to worry about it, so we’ll see. I cancelled the GRE for that day and I’m supposed to meet with them on the 25th of this month, after I return from AZ.

I added the radio blog to the actual site, so the pop-up is optional, but if you have your speakers on right now…you should be listening to everything that I am.

Thank you all so much for your well wishes on the GRE. prayers have now shifted to D-Day (OCTOBER 25th), the date of my Interview with the Masters Program Director. Pray for me PLEASE!

Last week was pretty good. I have no complaints. Yesterday, Incog and I went out to his dad’s house, and then headed over to Santa Monica Promenade. I picked up a new hat, a new shirt and some luggage for my AZ trip from the Guess Store. Super Cute stuff, I tell you…

Anyhow, you guys know this is the GRE week…so i probably wont post before my Birthday *Thursday*.
But I love you guys..keep me in your prayers.

Mo Money

by Courtney Elizabeth · October 2, 2005 · Life ·

I’m watching “Mo’ Money” right now before I head to practice, but I just wanted to say that SERENITY was the dumbest movie I’ve seen in a while and Roll Bounce was actually pretty cute.

You can read more about what I thought on Roll Bounce in the Reviews Section of my website. *points to the left*
