Happy Holidays!

It seems like the Holidays are going by really quickly this year. It’s almost disappointing. But I’m excited for 2006…new year, new thoughts, new lessons.

My Disclaimer for 2006

I wanted to make sure that my intentions were clear. So I thought I’d put them out there…It’s about being real. This year, my intentions are to LOSE all those people who have become a hinderance in my forward movement; To IGNORE all of those people who have nothing good to say, or have issues with themselves, and feel the need to bring others down to their level; To DROP the haters and two faced fakers; And to REMOVE those who LIKE drama. This year is about forward movement…If you’re not about positiveness, enhancing my life in a positive way, have other intentions, or are dealing with negative issues of your own…DONT CONTACT ME.
If you’re offended, remain that way. I dont have time for drama.

Friday went pretty quickly…I went to work, came home, and then hung out with some friends…

Saturday, December 24th, 2005

Incog and I woke up late. Then we went to his dad’s house, and then to the store to find something for Incog’s Nephew. After, we went back to his dad’s house, wrapped up the presents and then headed back to LA. We grabbed some movies and chilled the rest of the night.

Sunday, December 25th, 2005 – Merry Christmas!

We woke up REALLY early and while I was in my “still waking up phase”, Incog made breakfast for us. While things were cooking, we took turns opening our presents to eachother next to the tree. :couple: And then sat down to eat a quick breakfast.

Incog had to work that day, so after he left for work, I headed out to drop the videos off, and then to the 101 FWY to my mom’s house. It was surprisingly clear on the freeway for Christmas, but then again…it was Christmas morning, and most folks were probably just waking up and opening presents.

I got to my mom’s, helped her wrap some more presents, her and I exchanged presents and then we went to my grandmother’s house where everyone was supposed to be meeting up to exchange gifts and have dinner. :yummy: All of my cousins came over, except for those who were in San Diego. It was good to see everyone! :heartbeat:

After my grandmother’s WONDERFUL dinner and my mom’s DELICIOUS mac n’ cheese, I went home and waited for Incog to get off work. Once he got home, I watched him open the rest of his presents from my family and we put together the new lamp my mom bought us for Christmas. :high5:

Monday, December 26th, 2005 & Tuesday, December 27th, 2005

I did what I said I was going to do….I curled up on the couch with that good Cable Remote…and watched HBO on Demand. I plan on doing that on January 2nd too!

Did someone even wanna bother explaining to me why CSUN is the devil…BEFORE I went through all of this? *sigh*

Eh well…Christmas break….I get 1 day. I’m going to use it to the best of my ability. I’m sleeping in. So….on December 26th and 27th…dont even bother calling me…i’ll be sleep. I’m actually thinking of scheduling a DR’s appointment during those two days because my head’s been pounding every hour or so for the past few days. I thought it would go away…but it hasnt yet.

I think I’ve figured out a way to get the laptop I want. I’m going to have to bend and move a few things…but I think I’ve got it.

You see…I wasnt expecting to have to pay for all of my classes up front (CSUN SUX #1). Nor was I expecting to have to wait until all of my classes for Spring 2006 were paid for in order to qualify for Chapter 35 (CSUN SUX #2). I’m learning…I’m learning.

Anyhow…I’m done with Christmas shopping…done with wrapping presents…done with decorating…done with Christmas Cards…I guess there’s nothing left to do but enjoy the Holiday!

We got a tree! and booooy is it nice! We bought it on Wednesday, and decorated it on Thursday night…

Super cute…only a few presents…I’m workin on it.

Things have been better…I can’t complain…I think the week before last, was the longest I’d had in a long time…I wasnt feeling good, and I was super stressed because I’d been rackin my brain on big decisions.

Last night (Saturday), Incog drove me to Griffith Park Observatory, to view the Light Festival!

After Incog left for work today, grabbed my usual White Chocoalte Mocha from Starbucks (Incog calls it my crack addiction) and headed out to my cousin Jen’s house to spend some time with her…was really good to go to lunch and catch up. After that, I headed back towards home, stopping at Target to return the extra tree decorations I had purchased. I wasnt sure what size tree we would get, so I had spent a little much.

I’m home…almost finished with my Christmas cards…still missing a few addresses (If you’re reading this, I blame YOU!). I’m looking forward to this Christmas…so happy to be in the presence of people that I love.

Apologies for not posting as frequently. Incog asked me last night, why I hadnt posted in so long, and I realized that it had been a few days…:duh: So, bare with me as I give you the run down.

Wednesday night was supposed to be CSUN’s Yard Show, but it was cancelled. So by the time we got there, there was no one there, and all the food was gone. :pissed: We stood around and talked for a while. It was good to meet some of the greeks that I would be seeing around campus. When we finally realized that the food wasnt going to magically reappear, Lucho, Bri, Andrea, Perry, and I decided to go to Dennys. IHOP was closed. :pissed: It was good to sit down and chat with everyone though…especially since Bri is leaving to go to NY for Grad School in January. Time is running out…

We’re getting old… *sigh*

Friday night, Incog and I went to see The Chronicles of Narnia. The Lion reminded me of the Lion King. But in any case, the movie was cute…and perty good. We decided to hop into Syriana, but like most other people in the theatre, we decided to walk out. It wasnt that good…to us, of course.

On Saturday, my cousins came down from San Diego to visit my grandmother. Incog and I drove up to Oxnard, to rescue the oldest from the wrath of the younger two. He sees them everyday….It was our turn. We headed out to Ventura Mall and walked around and did some shopping. He’s WAY taller than me now…it’s ridiculous. I remember when he was little…and I could rest my chin on his head. He tried to be funny by telling me that he wasnt going to apply to USC. I didnt think that shit was funny. When we went into Champs, he held up a Texas Jersey. As if THAT’S going to stop them from getting STOMPED ON at the Rose Bowl. :typing: In any case, it was good to see them again. We probably wont seem them again until Easter, anyways.

We rented movies on the way back to Northridge, Saturday night…and I pretty much relaxed all day Sunday.

I was supposed to go visit a Kick Boxing class tonight, but I think I’ll take today as a free weights day and do a few exercises at home. Our living room is starting to look like a gym with all of the little things we keep buying. Think I’ll stop at Target and buy some ornaments as well…because I want a Christmas Tree…

A lot went on today…

I started thinking about a lot of things, that I didnt think I’d HAVE to think about. But I do…I guess it’s only customary. *sigh* You probably dont know what I’m talking about…and that’s okay, but I do…I guess that’s all that matters. Just….realigning a few things…preparing for a few things…deciding if this is what I really want…

Having a few issues with CSUN…but I heard that that’s the case with pretty much everyone. Parking’s bad…admissions is bad…it’s an all-around nightmare for some folks. And I’m just beginning to get acquainted.

A coworker of mine gave me some insight into some cool Dell Computer Coupons and Deals that I didnt know about. XPBargains.com has a lot of deals and coupons for dell purchases that they don’t offer on their websites. The Latitude X-1 is starting to look a lot more appealing these days. But of course, the purchase will have to wait until after the new year. Christmas, although a Happy Holiday Season, always tends to put a dent THIS BIG in my bank account. Plus, I’ve decided to pay off my little Best Buy Credit Card and keep it pushing. I dont want any more credit accounts on my credit report besides Lexi. On 1/6/2006, my card will be paid off according to the advance Bill Pay. I dont know about you all, but I love being able to pay my bills automatically each month. All you have to do is tell it what day to debit your account and you’re good to go. :thumbsup:

*sigh* It seems like there are a lot of relationship endings happening during this Holiday Season. I mean, DAMN. In spite of it all, I hope that everyone has a good Holiday. I dont know what the heck is going on…:uhh: I’ll use this as motivation to make sure that my own ish is tight….

I never got to say it…so I thought I’d make sure that it was at least in bold letters at the top of my blog.
On Saturday after we finished running, Incog patiently put on the license plate holder that I was dying to put on Lexy. Being that it WAS game day and all, I wanted to make sure I had something that said Trojans on the car.

GO TROJANS! FIGHT ON!

Anyhow, I was on the freeway extra long this morning due to several turned over trucks. I happened to pass a man who had his OWN issues.

Apparently, his convertible top was ripped off and he decided he wasnt going to drive his car without it. So he brought it along.

Welp, it’s almost Hump Day…the day has been pretty okay so far. I woke up this morning to find out that 2checkout.com credited my account for that extra $99.00 that they took last month. And that Adidas.com credited my account for a backpack that I sent back last month as well. I bought it to stick my gym shoes in, but it was about as big as my hand, so I couldnt fit anything in it. I sent it RIGHT BACK as soon as I opened it.

usually in the morning as soon as I get to work. Maybe one day I’ll feed it before I leave for work. It’s bad enough I have to wake up at 7 just so that I can leave by 7:50 and sit on the freeway for an hour. To wake up even earlier to make some cream of wheat or cereal is a stretch. :thumbsdown:

After wading through Monday morning randomness and confusion, i must admit…i’m feeling a little EH. And i’m NOT looking forward to Bally’s tonight. But alas…a girl must do…what a girl must do…

Saturday night, Incog and I went to the store and I picked up the latest People Magazine because I saw Nick and Jessica on the front cover. I just HAD to know what happened. lol I was one of the faithful watchers of “Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica”. That was my show! :blush: Anyways, I read that she didnt have a pre-nup. I understand love, this and that…but geez. At the time of their marriage, Nick was making more than she was. And after their show took off, her album and bank account did too. She was making WAY more than him. *sigh*

On Sunday, i did a little programming…and then mopped and cleaned up a little. Call me crazy, but it’s something great about clean linoleum and the smell of pinesol/bleach.

Payday is tomorrow…woo hoo! I still havent decided as to whether I’ll be buying a gateway, hp or apple computer / laptop, but I’ve come to the conclusion that DELL is OUT. Their support SUCKS. Anyhow, payday means more money in savings, means more money saved for a Laptop purchase in Late January.

alright…there’s a reason for the quotes around “WINTER”.

Apparently, The winter of 2005/2006 will start on the 21st of December, 2005, at 1:35 PM EST (18:35 GMT). It will end (and spring start) on the 20 th of March, 2006, at 1:26 PM EST (18:26 GMT).

But, out here in Cali, it already feels like Winter. The past few days have been really cold and rainy. Today seems like it might turn out alright, but who knows. The suns out…I wonder how cold it is around the beach.

I woke up before Incog this morning to handle some business. Seems like a few of my clients are involved in fraud. :pissed: You try to protect yourselves from the stupids, but sometimes it doesnt always work. :typing:

I think we’re going running this morning. Incog’s chargin’ up his Ipod. I think I might have to breeze past his computer and jack his Ipod cord since I cant find mine. :mouthshut:

We made tacos last night…In my opinion, they could have been better, but according to Incog, they were pretty good.*5 points for Courtney* Those who know me, know my cooking skills are QUITE questionable. Give me some frozen hotdogs or frozen fishsticks and I’ll “COOK” them for ya:thumbsup:, but uhh…hand made? :thumbsdown: I’m learnin…I’m learnin.
